Result of the Riet Kosterman Trophy
Riet Kosterman died in 2003. A huge loss for both Holland
Harmony and DABS. Riet inspired many barbershop singers, was a
persistent and skilful coach and director who was honoured by
her enormous drive. She was one the three certified judges in
the Netherlands for presentation (now 'Performance').
A special trophy has been made available by Holland Harmony and
DABS, the Riet Kosterman Trophy, to remember her forever. This
trophy will be awarded as extra price in the category presentation.
The trophy will be given to a promising Holland Harmony chorus or quartet which
could specifically benefit from an extra coaching on
presentation/performance. The accompanying financial price is to be spend on
increasing the quality of the presentation/performance.
